General Dentistry

At Davis Family Dentistry, our goal is to meet all your needs under our roof so you’ll rarely have to go elsewhere for any aspect of your care. For this reason, we offer a wide range of services designed for both adults and children.

Our care is comprehensive and patient driven, which means we want to help you achieve your own goals for your oral health, and there’s no pressure for you to get treatment that seems unnecessary.

Here’s what you can expect when you choose Davis Family Dentistry for your dental care.

Preventative Care for Families

We believe that with consistent preventative appointments, we can help you avoid many dental issues, from major concerns like oral cancer all the way down to the smallest amount of tooth decay. This is why you should come see us every six months for routine cleanings and check-ups.

We will screen for these issues to detect them in their earliest stages, and our hygienist will clean your teeth, removing the plaque that leads to many dental health concerns. Early detection of certain dental conditions allows you the best opportunity for successful treatment with the least invasive treatment procedures.

Children should also be seen every six months, just like adults. Dr. Kurtis and Dr. Joanne like to see children for their first visits around the age of three years old. We’ll start by getting to know your child, counting their teeth, and helping them acclimate to our office and the instruments we use.

When they’re comfortable in the “big chair,” we’ll incorporate a cleaning along with fluoride treatments to help build and strengthen their teeth. If your child participates in sports, we can also discuss the right mouth guard to protect their teeth from injuries. Early visits with your child allow us to monitor their dental development and make you aware of any concerns early on.

Emergency Dentistry

Our team understands how stressful dental emergencies can be. We’ll make every effort to see you the same day if you’re experiencing pain or a dental emergency, and we leave room in our daily schedule to accommodate emergency situations.

Here are some common dental emergencies that mean you should contact us right away:

  • Dental pain or a toothache
  • A broken or chipped tooth
  • A knocked-out tooth
  • A broken or lost restoration
  • An object lodged between your teeth

Don’t hesitate to call us when you need us. We’ll get you comfortable and back on the path to wellness in no time.

At Davis Family Dentistry, we treat our patients like we would treat our own family members, and we know you’ll appreciate the differences you notice at our practice.
